Mike and Trish Bloomer have owned the Sand Bar & Restaurant since January of 2011, and are happy to invite you into the Sand Bar family.    

The Sand Bar & Restaurant has been a local gathering spot for the town of Hoosick Falls, New York and surrounding towns for nearly 30 years.  From its humble beginnings as an outdoor volleyball venue with a small tiki-bar, it has grown into a fully developed bar and restaurant offering a full array of food (including an array of 10+ different kinds of wings that are widely acknowledged to be the best wings around) and a full slate of drink options from spirits and wine to beers and ales, including local, seasonal and specialty craft brews on tap. 

The Sand Bar also offers a wide array of social activities, including trivia nights, karaoke nights, open mic nights, live musical entertainment, annual fundraising events, volleyball leagues throughout the spring, summer and fall months, golf leagues on a state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator throughout the winter and early spring months, and of course participates in the long-standing Hoosick Falls Dart League, which is currently in its 50^th season.  We also host several one-day tournaments throughout the year, often to raise money for various local charities, such as the annual Karen McGovern Volleyball Tournament and the annual cornhole tournament held each year to raise money for the Hoosick Falls Youth Baseball and Softball leagues. 

We also offer up our venue, including a large banquet room, for all sorts of parties, ranging from birthday parties to anniversary parties and wedding receptions to retirement parties and celebrations of life.  And of course, you can stop in any time of day, any time of year, to meet up with friends, play a game of pool, darts, or ping pong, or have a quick bite to eat or a few cocktails.
